It is hard to believe that summer is halfway gone! We have been quite busy and the time is flying by. Derek's nephew, Vince Rowe, is up for 2 weeks, and they have been working hard. Whether it's visiting elders or resurfacing our front deck, they're constantly in motion. Right now they are building a wood shelter for firewood.
Kids Bible Club starts on Monday, and we will be hosting 5 college students who are part of SEND's Summer Missionary Program. They will be leading the kids club, and we are excited to have them coming. Please pray that kids lives will be changed by the love of Christ!
The first week of August we will be heading out to Glennallen, Alaska once again for SEND Alaska's annual conference. This is a great time to catch up with our fellow northern missionaries, as well as a time to be fed Spiritually and encouraged. A volunteer group also provides childcare during the sessions, so that is a much appreciated blessing! A few days after we return from Alaska, Jenny's parents will be arriving for a quick visit. We are very excited as we have not seen any of our parents for 13 months!
Please pray for us as we minister throughout the rest of the summer. So many people need the healing power of Jesus.
